Ok, I know I am new here and fairly new to the game. I find myself asking what is a guild mean to WoW here lately...Previous experiences guildes work together as a functional unit who are progressing towards a goal. My experiences here are nowhere near close to this. About a week ago some guildmates where talking about going to ZA, so I said I would like to go since I need the gear. I was currently in a grp so i left it and hearthed back to Shatt. Welp, no more than 2 mins after asking for the invite I get told they didnt want/need me. Today, same thing except we were at the last boss and told them it would be like 5 min, which it was cause we had 10 min befor the heroics reset and i had 5 left when we made kill. So when I get out I find that I am SoL again. I would normally not be upet about this...but I am for the fact that 2 rogues were pug'd. Is 5 min really to much to ask for, I was out befor they even got to the place. I could completly unberstand if the raid allready had enough of the class etc, but to pug the same classes as the guildmates who want to go is tacky. Both times the same exact person couldnt wait a matter of mins and pug. If WoW is anything like other MMORPGs then ALL members would need to be geared to progress, not pugging because you are to impatient to see a full raid. I'm sorry it had to be posted here, but I put in the app like a week ago and its still not accepted so i couldnt put it in guild section.
yeah i agree with you and if i was there i would have made sure that there were no pugs. if you are going to run with mostly guildies and you cant find 2 other players at least tell the raid members that it might take awhile for others to get on or you can post pone it. also another thing a PUG player should never be master looter if the whole raid is mainly made up of guildies!
